My friends and/or family tell me not to use a soother, can you explain why I should use this soother?

There are known Medical benefits associated with the use of pacifiers or soothers for very young babies which include providing comfort, contributing towards neurobehavioural organisation, and reducing the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28449646/).

The Qudo Soother is not just any old soother, the magic is in the teat which has been researched, developed and tested to show benefits to numerous infants who were not finding comfort or relaxation using a traditional soother or pacifier. Babies instinctively know when they need to use it and we have not found it causes any problems with disrupting breast fed or bottle-fed infants. The deeper sucking movement which Qudo Soother stimulates helps enhance and strengthen a baby's suck-swallow and breathing reflex. Sucking and eating involves a complex pattern of movements which require the coordination of numerous muscles including the tongue. The use of the Qudo Soother will help you to know when your baby is hungry and needs feeding rather than wanting to suck for comfort and ease (non-nutritive sucking). The Qudo Soother evolved as a solution for persistently crying infants and we have found that it suits a wide cross section of babies who are not persistently crying as well.
