How else can I help my baby who is persistently crying?

It is important to ensure that your baby is healthy and not unwell. We recommend that you seek help and support from your post-natal team, Health Visitor or GP.

If your baby is medically healthy by still excessively crying, you could explore other options.

Many infants can gain relief from treatment with a Paediatric Chiropractor, Cranial Osteopath and Paediatric Physiotherapist. There are many reasons why your baby is persistently crying, it is important to first rule out anything that requires medical treatment and to seek sound advice about how to help your baby, for example, you can try baby massage routines, tiger in the tree pose - visit our website and YouTube Channel for tips on these. If you are feeling unhappy or depressed, do please speak to a family member or contact a health professional for support.  It is not uncommon to feel very tired, weepy and exhausted in the early few months as your own body readjusts post birth and lack of sleep. Taking a break, having a rest, relaxing bath and eating well will help keep you going.
